This 7-day safari begins in Nairobi, Kenya and takes you through the breathtaking landscapes of the Great Rift Valley to the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. After thrilling game drives and a taste of Maasai culture, you’ll cross into Tanzania to explore the wildlife-rich plains of the Serengeti and the stunning natural amphitheater of the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy daily game drives, cultural encounters, and panoramic scenery, with accommodations in budget camps and lodges to keep the experience immersive yet affordable. The tour ends in Arusha, with optional transfer back to Nairobi.

Day 1 :

NAIROBI - MASAI MARA.

Depart from Nairobi to Masai Mara via Mai Mahiu and note the magnificent landscape of the Great Rift Valley and have a stopover at the view point to give you a chance to appreciate the beautiful scenic view of the landscape and formation of the same then proceed to Narok town to freshen up then to Maasai Mara reserve. Check in at the camp for hot lunch and after lunch have the evening Game Drive. Dinner and overnight to be served at the camp. Accommodation: Lenchada Tourist Camp

Day 2 :

MASAI MARA FULL DAY

Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’ in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch at the hippo’s pool then proceed with the game drive till sunset. Later drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 :

MASAI MARA-NAIROBI-NAMANGA BORDER- ARUSHA

Have breakfast and proceed for an optional activity of visit to Masai village. At the Masai village you will have an opportunity to learn the the culture o the Masai people that has been preserved for years. At the village you will only pay $10 per person paid directly at the village. Later depart from Maasai Mara where you'll be dropped in Nairobi to pick the private shuttle heading to Arusha.

Day 4 :

ARUSHA - SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Breakfast at your Arusha Hotel, meet our staff and driver guide for a briefing about the whole trip, leave Arusha and drive to Serengeti National park with lunch enroute. Upon arrival at the main gate the registration is done then with a game drive to the camp which is located at the Central Serengeti. This will mark the start of the Tanzanian heart of wildlife. Later then, dinner will be served at Seronera Camp followed by overnight at the same camp.

Day 5 :

SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK – NGORONGORO CRATER.

Kenya and Tanzania budget safari is not complete without another 6-hour game drive in Serengeti National Park. Explore the Mawe area visiting the Kopjes in search of Pride of lions, buffalos, Elands, Cheetahs, Elephants, and others. By noon exit Serengeti National Park with an optional visit to Olduvai Gorge at extra cost. Arrive Ngorongoro conservancy area by late evening, optional visit to locals or relax at the Campsite. Day 6 :

NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

Ngorongoro crater a UNESCO World Heritage site is the largest world inactive volcano site which has recorded more than 25,000 wild animal species. Ngorongoro crater hosts the few remaining black Rhinos. The Tourists are allowed only 6 hours down and up the crater where a thrilling game drive is experienced. The visit will be after breakfast and together with other tourists will enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater rim. Ascend with a game drive, exit, and drive to Arusha The Charity Hotel booked a bed and breakfast. Accommodation: Charity Hotel

Day 7 :

ARUSHA – NAIROBI

Breakfast at The Charity Hotel then if you will be returning to Nairobi the shuttle driver will come pick you up in the morning. Transfer to Kilimanjaro airport will be as per the flight time as well as transfer to Arusha airport. For a Kilimanjaro transfer solo traveler will add USD $35.
